Cloud & Hosting

As the IT industry matures its difficult to imagine Cloud hosting services and SAAS (software as a service) won’t continue to increase its share of the overall marketplace.

At NTS cloud and hosting options are available from most vendors within our portfolio and ultimately, we are about providing our customers with choice and of course each option has its own advantages and disadvantages so it’s important to consider what’s right for you.

In the Unified Communications and Contact Centre marketplace there are various options available for someone looking to migrate to Cloud.

Firstly, NTS would work with the customer to understand which of these Cloud options works best for their environment if at all as of course many customers still choose to own equipment whether on premise or installed somewhere in a data centre along with their other business applications.

Cloud Options:

Public Cloud – with this option the vendor offers a shared service from a large instance of a Unified Communications platform which you share with other subscribers albeit with your own tenanted part of the system.

Private Cloud – with this option the vendor offers a subscription-based model, but you have your own ‘private instance’ of the platform residing on a virtual server platform in the vendor data centre.

Hybrid Cloud – with this option the Unified Communications applications can be either purchased or rented on a subscription model, but the software can reside on any data centre chosen by the customer or in the data centre of the partner in this case NTS.

Why choose NTS?

Our job at NTS is to help you navigate which cloud option and procurement method is right for your organisation including any relevant on-premise options for comparison.
